At the June 2021 meeting of the Hunger Prevention Council we got a tour of the new food bank located in Hudson from Dana Cahoon. Representatives from food pantries across Pierce County were given the opportunity to see the space, learn more about how operations and deliveries will be set up at the new food bank, and ask questions about ordering food and new systems. The meeting was very edudational and was our first in person meeting since the pandemic shut downs of group activities. We are very excited for this new development and the work it will allow us to do preventing hunger in Pierce County!
